Previously On One Cycle…
Ultra City is a metropolis in the far too distant future covering Earth’s entire western hemisphere; inhabited entirely by robots, silently controlled by the Archy Corporation ran by Pat-ree and Mat-ree-Archy.
On the night of their 100th wedding anniversary, Pat-Ree was found meeting with Do-Na an ex-mistress from his past. Having enough of his infidelity Mat-Ree divorced her husband using the alimony to create Next Gen Robotics.
Her first order of business was to build brand new robots that were more similar to the ancient humans of eons ago. She called them NG 10’s and raised one as her daughter.
The NG models were very popular, depending on their budget, bots from another series could either slowly upgrade their parts or even download their entire consciousness into a new body. In less than decade NGR had financially toppled Archy Co.
The Archy’s had three sons.
Le-Thario the youngest, an ex-athlete in every sport with a ring for each finger, the head of marketing for Archy Co. as well as the face of the company, appearing in every advertisement, his trade mark move is to burst through a wall at any given moment holding up a new product, an idea he conceived having been obsessed with the stories of the mythical Kool-Aid man his Mother would tell him before bedtime.
While Le-Thario amassed a great fortune for the company, he was also addicted to gambling, particularly roulette; racking up an incredible debt with Mr. Bit the local Don-Bot who threatened Le-thario to either produce the money he owed or be switched off forever.
Le-Thario knew he couldn’t go to his family with this so he snuck into the payroll offices and switched numbers in the master computer extracting money from the slush fund to pay his debts.
Protag was the middle child who over compensated his insecurity with a hyper positive attitude that was as transparent as overbearing. Recently he had suspicions that his wife Wa-N-Da was cheating on him and that his teenage daughter R0-RY was not his. He hired an expensive yet discreet P.I. – Bot to get to the bottom of the controversy finding out that his wife was having an affair with Antag, his eldest brother.
Antag the first-born and most ruthless son, while Le-Thario was the face of the company, Antag was the silent enforcer who led literal hostile takeovers for Archy Co as if they were a military invasion. After RC Auto had been bought by AL Co, Antag and a dozen of his Intern-Soldier Bots charged into their offices brandishing laser rifles, throwing workers out of windows, it ended with Antag wrapping his lengthy sharp, black chrom talons of his right hand around the head of R0TH-HYMN, the C.E.O. of RC. tore his head free from his shoulders and tossed it out the top floor window.
Recently a deadly virus emerged called “ticking clock” no one knew where it came from but if transmitted after seventy two hours it would slow down a bots entire functions attacking their CPU until they were nothing but a hollow shell.
Pat-Ree went to Capitol City General for his annual physical, where he was ambushed by his evil twin brother K0b01t, they fought, K0b01t was victorious then injected his brother with a USB needle containing the dangerous ticking clock virus.
Pat-Ree passed out with everything fading into darkness.
And now, the thrilling conclusion…
Pat-ree woke up in a junkyard on a conveyor belt that lead into an incinerator, he rolled to his left off the conveyor belt free falling eight stories before crashing into a mountain of garbage. Pat-Ree accessed his current programing. It had been only ninety minutes since he was injected with the ticking clock virus, he was in the downtown dump only a few blocks away from Archy Manor.
Reaching his mansion the front door had been broken open and his home office upended in search of something. Pat-Ree looked under his desk, as he suspected the disk of the ticking clock virus was gone. Who was K0b01t working for? It had to be either Antag or Mat-Ree and since the former was the only one who knew about the cure they had been working on for the virus, he decided to start there.
He called Antag’s Office, his secretary answered amazed as Antag was scheduled to be in a meeting with Pat-Ree at that very moment.

The imposter had gathered his three nephews under the guise of their father, he told them how he had been diagnosed with the ticking clock virus and they all reacted in their predictable ways, Antag was stone silent, Protag was disgustingly optimistic, lying about treatment plans and Le-Thario sobbed.
K0b01t brought them all together to reveal whom he had chosen as his successor. In truth all of this was a formality, he waited for the Wi-fi link to either go dead announcing his success in his siblings demise or for the signal to get stronger, announcing that the fool had indeed survived, as he was prone to obnoxiously doing.

Protag couldn’t believe it, for the first time in his life things had gone right, he started thinking about Wa-N-Da and R0-RY, how this had made up for the trying year they had as a family and how it was all going to turn around when…
ANTAG
Father, you created and raised me to be a cold emotionless killing machine, I have massacred many insubordinates without flaring a lens, I have lead many a hostile takeover on anyone who would seek to usurp us, leaving them as bones or a quivering shell, If you give this company over to anyone else I will hate you until the end of my cycle, spending my remaining days seeking nothing but the assured destruction of this company and its subsidiaries.

He patted his oblivious nephew on the back as a sharp ding when off inside of K0b01t’s head, it was the signal he was looking for, his brother had made it to his apartment, he pushed Protag away from him.

Kobo1t sped out of the office in a blur. Syd-Kik was perplexed and ran after his boss, leaving the Archy sons behind.
Antag took this moment to pace in front of his brothers.
ANTAG
Protag you will be my Vice President. Just because I hate you does not mean I cannot work with you.
PROTAG
