Previously on One Cycle…
It was New Years Eve in Ultra City when seven ten foot tall Obsidian giants blasted forth from the Earth’s core. They were the Elders, left over golems from before time; the original guardians of the Earth became outraged upon seeing the new world and what had befallen the human race.
They stood in judgment eager to punish whomever they deemed responsible. Pat-Ree and Mat-Ree Archy stepped forward and were banished outside the walls of Ultra City while their family was imprisoned, their children’s fates in the hands of the Elders who decided to persecute them with a trial.
Struggling in the wilderness, Pat-Ree and Mat-Ree were rescued by a community of centaurs, who not only possessed knowledge of the Elders but also how to defeat them.
And now, the thrilling conclusion of…
The ship glided into Ultra City Harbor on the gray of the morning, in its belly stood a full squadron of centaurs with Hogarth at the forefront, Pat-Ree at his side.
HOGARTH
Steady brothers and sisters in about five minutes Ultra City is gonna have one hell of a distraction!
CENTAUR CENTURIANS
AYE HAHA, AYE HAHA!!!
PAT-REE
Hogarth I owe you my life, you have been an outstanding ally over the last month.
HOGARTH
Its nothing but the centaur way!
PAT-REE
Irsahmott!
HOGARTH

The ship docked, the bridge extended and before it had touched the ground a hundred Centaurs brandishing swords and laser crossbows leapt forward charging against the Security Drone-Bots that had risen to greet them.
At this stage of the plan Pat-Ree was the last to leave the ship, as the drone bots were too busy to notice him. He had the image of the city map running through his CPU using it to find the down town detention center that once was Emerald Stadium. Entering through the maintenance crew tunneles, Pat-Ree switched on the Archy link getting a signal for the first time since the rise of the Elders. “All right my boy” he thought. “We can’t talk but I can feel you so that’s better than nothing, just light the way.” The warm signal got louder the closer Pat-Ree moved to it and faint the farther away he was in its own game of hot and cold. He followed the signal to a closed red titanium hatch door guarded by Security Drones.
PAT-REE
Gentlemen.
The Security Drones flew top speed at Pat-Ree who ignited his new bright red laser eyes courtesy of the Omega Gem inside his programming and blew the Security Drones away. He stared at the titanium hatch until a hole melted in the center and strolled through.
Or-I-On was suspended in the center of the room by a large EMP generator attached to the ceiling, all of the eight metal tentacles emerging from his back were locked into the generator that gave off sharp blasts every second. Pat-Ree put his focus on the generator blasting it apart freeing his grandson. Or-I-On fell to his knees, breathed heavily then looked up.
OR-I-ON
BEHIND YOU!!!
Or-I-On jetted two tentacles from his back, piercing the two Drones attempting a failed sneak attack on Pat-Ree.
PAT-REE
Outstanding!
OR-I-ON
You’re alive and came to rescue me, scenario G13, most impressive.
PAT-REE
You’re very welcome.

Where is Grandmother?
Arch-Ie Archy cleaned the storm drains at top east corner of Archy Manor. An escape attempt crossed constantly ran through his head but was thwarted each time he got a glimpse of one of the many Vulture-Bots circling above, he felt their stare with every move. Mat-Ree shot through a Vulture-Bot, emerging from the flames mid-air in front of Arch-Ie.
ARCH-IE
Mat-Ree?
MAT-REE
Still can’t get you to call me grandma, even during a rescue?
ARCH-IE
I thought you were dead.
MAT-REE
Mute your ears dear.
Mat-Ree tilted her head upward, her chest glowed bright blue as a screech emitted from her screen that combusted every Vulture-Bot that descended upon her.
MAT-REE
I’ll catch you up when we get R0-RY free, now where is she?
R0-RY was held in the basement of Archy Manor now converted into a holding cell. There were no guards, every possible entrance and exit had been sealed shut, the only way in or out was the ceiling. R0-RY rested in the left corner of her cell when above her started to rumble then vibrate until the top of her concrete prison had been torn apart like paper and in its place was Mat-Ree hovering above her.

WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG!?
R0-RY, Arch-Ie and Mat-Ree dispatched of all of their captors reclaiming Archy Manor from the Elders’ Usurper Drones. Mat-Ree opened a communication with Pat-Ree.
MAT-REE
Location secure!
Pat-Ree ran with Or-I-On through the halls of Emerald Stadium slaying as many Security Drones as they could while making their way to the sewers. Arch-Ie and R0-RY saw on Mat-Ree’s screen everything from Pat-Ree’s point of view, there were many exploding drones then Or-I-On flying into the foreground; the two were ecstatic.

I never liked that nickname Arch.
R0-RY
Bicker some more, I need it!
OR-I-ON
You’re at what I’m assuming is the rendezvous point?
PAT-REE
There’s still work to be done.
MAT-REE
Readying the destruction protocols for Archy Manor.
ARCH-IE/OR-I-ON/R0-RY
Readying the what!?
PAT-REE
Archy manor houses one of the three ancient power sources for the Elders, if we shut them all down then we end this madness.
OR-I-ON
We’re on our way to one of the other sources aren’t we, what about the third?
PAT-REE
It’s in Aqua Village.
MAT-REE
And R0-RY and Arch-Ie have graciously volunteered.
R0-RY
We just heard about this!
ARCH-IE
The queens of Aqua Village banished us from their society under penalty of death.
MAT-REE
I think they will make an exception for the fate of the world.
ARCH-IE
Fine, I hated feeling useless anyway.
R0-RY
I would’ve thought you’d be used to it by now.
MAT-REE
Children don’t dawdle; there will be plenty of time for your questionably incestuous sexual tension when the world isn’t at stake.
ARCH-IE

I never really understood the need for secrecy. No offense Arch-Ie, but you were adopted into this family, so…meh.
MAT-REE
